Ingredients:

• 250 g – Paneer (cut into chunks)
• 1 cup – brown breadcrumbs (made from a day old bread)
• 1 tbsp – Lemon juice
• 2 tbsp – fresh Coriander leaves (chopped)
• 1 tbsp – Mint leaves (chopped)
• salt
• black pepper to taste (freshly ground)
• 2 tsp – Corn flour
• 2 tsp – Maida (dissolved in 1/3 cup water)
• 1/2 tsp – chaat masala

Method:

  1. Sprinkle salt and freshly ground black pepper on the paneer and keep aside for 5 minutes.
  2. Combine breadcrumbs, lemon juice, coriander leaves, chaat masala and mint leaves.
  3. Add salt and pepper if desired. Keep aside.
  4. Dip paneer chunks in corn flour-maida mixture and then roll in breadcrumbs mixture.
  5. Put on skewers and cook in the tandoor or in an oven at 375 degrees F for 10 minutes or till they are golden.
  6. Sprinkle more chaat masala if desired.
  7. Serve with a salad of your choice.
