
Ingredients:
• 4 – Indian pav, halved
• 2 – Onions, chopped fine
• For the filling:
• 2 – Boiled Potatoes
• 1.5 tsp – Garam Masala powder
• 1.5 tsp – Pav bhaji masala
• 2 tsps – Red Chilli powder
• 1.5 tsp – Amchur powder
• Salt, Sugar – to taste
• A pinch – Hing
• 2 tbsp – Oil
• 1 tsp – Haldi powder
• 1 tbsp – Lime juice
• Corainder leaves chopped fine – for garnishing
• For the masala:
• 5 tbsp – Dhabeli Masala
• 4 tbsp – Roasted Peanuts
• Salt, Sugar – to taste
• 1 tbsp – Oil
Method:
- Take oil in a kadhai, add hing and haldi powder.
- Add all the dry powders, salt, and sugar and mix well.
- Mash the potatoes and add it to the mixture. Mix well and fry for 2 minutes.
- Put off the gas, add lime juice and coriander leaves and keep aside.
- For Masala:
- Take oil in a kadhai, add salt and sugar and mix for a second.
- Then add the dhabeli masala and peanuts and mix well for 2 minutes. Keep aside.
- Preparation of the dhaa beli:
- Take one half of the pav, put any green chutney in it (used for sandwich or bhel puri).
- Place the filling on top of the chutney. It should be like a thick coating.
- On top of the filling, add the masala and on top of the masala, add some chopped onions.
- Close this pav with the other half and serve.
