Ingredients:
• 2 – green chillies, sliced
• 4 – dry red chillies, sliced
• 1 – Coconut
• 3 tbsp – cooking oil
• 100 g – dried Prawns
• 1 – ginger, sliced
• 1 tsp – Cumin seeds
• 2 – medium-sized onions, sliced
• salt to taste
• a little Tamarind
• a little Turmeric powder
Method:
- Clean and wash the dried prawns.
- Grind the masala. Remember to remove the fibres and seeds from the tamarind.
- Fry the sliced masala of green chillies, ginger and 1 onion in cooking oil.
- Add the prawns and fry.
- Stir continuously until brown.
- Add the ground masala and its water and the other ingredients. Cook for some time. Add salt to taste.
- Cook until the onions are soft, stirring frequently.
- When done, add the scraped coconut.
- Stir and simmer for 5 minutes.
