Ingredients:
• 2 cups – Basmati Rice
• 3 tbsp – Ghee
• 1 – Onion (Sliced)
• 4 – Cloves
• 4 – Cardamom
• 1 – Cinnamon Stick
• 2 – Red Chillies
• 1/2 cup – Pineapple (Chopped)
• 1/2 cup – Apple – (Chopped)
• 1/2 cup – Grapes (Seedless)
• 1/2 cup – Orange Juice
• 1.5 cups – Water
• Salt to taste
Method:
- Wash and keep the rice aside for sometime.
- Take a microwave-safe bowl, place ghee and sliced onion and microwave on ‘High’ for 2 minutes.
- Add cloves, cardamom, cinnamon, red chillies (break into pieces) and rice.
- Mix well and microwave on ‘High’ for 2 more minutes.
- Add water, orange juice and salt.
- Cook covered in microwave ‘High’ for 11 minutes.
- Stir in the chopped apple, pineapple and grapes.
- Keep covered for a few minutes.
- Now the fruit Pulao is ready to eat. Serve hot.
