Chickpeas is full of fiber which is good for health. Its helps to maintain your heart health. Here I am sharing a healthy green chickpea soup recipe which is cooked with spinach, lemon juice and coriander which is very yummy in taste.
Ingredients
– 1 cup boiled chickpeas (kabuli chana)
– 7 cups water
– 4 cups chopped spinach
– 2 tablespoon finely chopped fresh coriander
– 1/2 teaspoon sugar
– 2 tablespoon lemon juice
– Salt and pepper to taste
– 2 tablespoon curd for topping
How To Make?
1. Soak 1/2 cup chick peas overnight. Boil the chanas next morning.
2. Finely chop the spinach and coriander and boil with 1/2 cup water and 1/2 teaspoon sugar to retain color. Keep uncovered on LOW same for 3-4 minutes.
3. Grind the spinach along with boiled chana to a smooth puree. Add water to the puree in the blender.
4. Strain the puree. Add salt, pepper and lemon juice to taste. Give one boil.
5. Serve hot mixed with a teaspoon of beaten curd.
