Ingredients:

• 1 cup- basmati Rice
• 1/2 cup- moong dal
• 1/4 cup- Channa dal
• 6 Cardamoms
• 10 Cashew nuts
• A few sliced Almonds
• A few Raisins
• 2 cups- Sugar
• 1 cup- pure Ghee
• 1 liter- Milk

Method:

  1. Fry the moong and chana dal in 2 table spoons of ghee.
  2. Wash the basmati rice and drain it. Fry the rice lightly in 1 tbsp of ghee for a minute or two.
  3. Boil the rice, moong dal and the chana dal together in the milk.
  4. After the rice and the dals are well cooked, add sugar and ghee.
  5. Leave everything cooking for 10 more minutes on low flame.
  6. Fry the cashews, almonds, and raisins in a tbsp of ghee, and add them to the rice. Peel off the cardamoms, powder them and add to the rice.
  7. Be careful that the rice mix doesn’t burn at the bottom. Let cool and serve.
