Ingredients:
• Besan flour – Sugar – Ghee in the ratio 1:2:2
• Or you can use the ratio 1:2.5:2.5 (this will be very sweet)
Method:
- Sieve besan flour. Powder sugar in a blender.
- Warm ghee on low heat (don’t let it boil). Remove from fire, add besan flour to it and stir till well mixed.
- Keep a heavy-bottom vessel on the fire, add the sugar and a little water.
- Once the sugar dissolves and starts bubbling, add the besan-ghee mixture to it slowly.
- Stir till it leaves the sides of the vessel.
- Pour the mixture on to a plate coated with ghee. Allow it to cool for a while and then cut into squares.
- Cool for another hour or so.
