Ingredients:
• 200 g – Paneer
• 2 – medium-sized Tomatoes
• 1 cup – pudina
• 2 bunches- fresh Methi
• 3 – Onions
• 2 g – cashews
• 1 tsp – ginger-garlic paste
• 4 – Red Chillies
• 1 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 2 tsp – coriander leaves, chopped
• 1 tsp – Garam Masala
• salt to taste
• red colour as required
• 1/2 – Butter stick
• 2 tbsp – oil
Method:
- Pressure-cook the methi, pudina, red chillies, onions and tomatoes. Grind into a smooth paste.
- Grind the cashews separately into a smooth paste.
- Cut the paneer into small cubes. Don’t fry them.
- Heat oil in a pan. Add the onions and fry well until the colour changes. Grind into a smooth paste.
- Add some more oil in the pan and fry the onion paste with ginger-garlic paste.
- When the paste leaves oil, add the methi paste, cashew paste, salt, turmeric, garam masala and food colour. Boil it for 3 minutes.
- Add the paneer cubes and boil for 5 minutes.
- Add butter and garnish with coriander leaves. Serve hot with paratha or puri.
