
Ingredients:
• 1 kg – shrimp (uncooked)
• 2 – Green chillies
• 1/2 – Coconut (grated)
• 2 tsp – Ginger paste
• 1 pinch – Turmeric powder
• 2 – elaichi
• 2 – Cardamom
• 2 – Cinnamon – 2
• 2 – Bay Leaves
• 1 pinch – Sugar
• Raisins, a few
• salt to taste
Method:
- Heat oil in a pan, light fry the shrimps and keep aside.
- In a separate pan heat oil add bay leaves, cardamom and cinnamon. Add onion and green chillies.
- When the onion turns brown add ginger paste.
- Add grated coconut and stir fry it for sometime.
- Add turmeric powder and salt. Let it get cooked.
- Add shrimp and then mix it well.
- Add 1.5 cups water. After a while add sugar.
- Let it get cooked till there is very less water left.
- Add raisins and serve.
