Ingredients:

• 1 cup Channa dal
• 1 tbsp Rice
• 1 big onion, chopped
• 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
• Pinch of Turmeric
• Salt to taste
• Coriander, finely chopped
• Curry Leaves, chopped (1 twig)
• Green chillies, chopped

Method:

  1. Soak channa dal and rice for 2-3 hours in water. Grind them coarsely.
  2. Then add all other ingredients and mix well.
  3. Make round balls and flatten them to form vadas.
  4. Deep fry them till brown.
  5. Serve hot with tomato ketchup or sauce.
