Ingredients:
• 2 cups – Wheat flour
• 1 tsp – ajwain
• Red Chilli powder (or green pepper) – 1 tsp
• Salt – to taste
• Turmeric powder – 1 tsp
• 2 tsp – oil
Method:
- Mix all ingredients and make a stiff dough.
- Make balls (luva) and roll them (little thicker than chapatti) in about 6″ diameter.
- On a hot griddle, bake the bhakhri on one side without oil and then turn to bake the other side.
- Turn the first side over again and add about half tsp of oil around the bhakhri which should go under the bhakhri.
- Then, press lightly with the spatula and turn the other side over and press lightly.
- Bake all bhakhris one by one until light brown.
