Ingredients:
• 6 large Chicken legs, skinned
• 1/2 cup – flour (maida)
• 1 tsp – chilli powder
• 1 tsp – mustard powder
• 2 tsp – pepper
• Oil for frying
• Salt to taste
• For the sauce:
• 8 Tomatoes
• 1 tbsp – Garlic paste
• 2 cups – spring onions, chopped
• 12 mushrooms, chopped
• 12 Walnut kernels, crushed
• Oil and salt as needed
Method:
- Cook tomatoes and pass through a sieve to get juice.
- Heat 5 tbsps. oil. Add mushrooms. Fry and set aside.
- Fry walnuts. Drain and set aside.
- Add garlic and onions.
- Add tomato juice, mushrooms and walnuts.
- Season with salt and simmer till blended.
- Now roll chicken pieces in a mixture of flour, chilli, mustard and pepper powder.
- Fry in hot oil and remove.
- Pressure cook in a little water for 7 minutes till done.
- Add chicken with gravy to the tomato mixture.
- Blend well and serve.
