Ingredients:

• 2 cups – Sprouted Chickpeas
• 1.5 cups – Brown Rice
• 1/2 cup – Parboiled Rice
• 1 cup – Urad Dal
• 1/2 tsp – Fenugreek seeds
• Salt to taste.

Method:

  1. Combine the brown rice and the parboiled rice and soak for 4 hours.
  2. Now wash and soak the urad dal and fenugreek seeds separately for 4 hours.
  3. Then grind the soaked urad dal and fenugreek seeds into a smooth paste.
  4. Then grind the sprouted chickpeas along with soaked brown rice and par boiled rice with water into a coarse paste.
  5. Mix the smooth urad dal batter along with the coarse chickpeas-rice batter with enough salt.
  6. Let it ferment overnight.
  7. Now heat a non-stick pan and pour a ladle of this sprouted chickpeas batter and spread it like a dosa.
  8. Cook on both sides until it’s well cooked.
  9. Serve hot with spicy coconut chutney.
