
Ingredients:
• 300gms – tender bhendi (washed, wiped dry and cut into 1to1.5-inch pieces)
• 1 medium onion, chopped fine
• 2 green chillies, cut into pieces
• 3/4 tsp – Red Chilli powder
• 1/4 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 6 peeled, crushed Garlic
• 1/2 tsp – coriander powder
• Salt
• 1 tsp – chopped Coriander leaves
• 1 tbsp – til, dry fried and powdered
• 1 tbsp or less – oil
Method:
- Mix okra (bhendi), onion, chillies and salt in a microwave-safe bowl and microwave on High for 3 mins, with a lid.
- Add oil, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, crushed garlic and mix well. Microwave on High for 6 mins (with lid) stirring once after every 2 mins.
- Add coriander leaves and til powder; mix and microwave on High for 2 more mins without the lid.
- Check and remove.
- Tastes great with curd, rice/chapathi.
