Ingredients:
• Peas – 1 lb packet.
• For Seasoning:
• 10-12 – cashews.
• 1/2 tsp – mustard seeds.
• 1/2 tsp – cumin.
• Curry leaves.
• 1/4 tsp – turmeric.
• 2 tsp – cooking oil.
• Grind to a fine paste:
• 1/2 cup – sesame.
• 4-5 – red chillies.
• 1 tsp – cumin.
• 1 tsp – Rice flour.
• 1/2 cup – water.
Method:
- In a pan, heat 2 tsps oil. Add the seasonings.
- When the seeds pop, add the peas and fry for a few minutes.
- Now, add 2 cups of water and bring to a boil.
- Once the peas are tender, add the ground paste. Add salt to taste.
- Bring to a boil again and top with 1 tsp ghee.
