
Ingredients:
• 400 ml – Curd
• 200 ml – water
• 1/2 tsp – salt
• 1/2 tsp – Turmeric powder
• For seasoning:
• 2 tsp – oil
• 3/4 tsp – Mustard Seeds
• 1/2 tsp – Jeera (cumin seeds)
• 1 – inch piece ginger, finely chopped
• 6- Garlic cloves, finely chopped and crushed
• 2 -green chillies, slit lengthwise
• 1- spring Curry leaves or 6
Method:
- Blend curd, water, salt and turmeric powder in a blender.
- Blend till smooth and keep aside.
- For seasoning:
- In a pan, heat oil and add mustard seeds.
- When it begins to crackle, add jeera, ginger, crushed garlic, green chillies and curry leaves.
- Stir fry on low to medium heat for 10 minutes or until the colour changes and is crisp.
- Pour the seasoning over moru curry / takka kadi and stir continuously for 2 – 3 minutes.
- Serve with rice.
