Ingredients:
• 1 kg – Beaten Rice (fawwa) (clean and soak)
• 1 – Coconut tender (grate and scrape)
• 400 gms – Jaggery (grate and scrape)
• 6 – plantains (yellow, ripe and cut)
• 1 tsp – Cardamom powder (for garnish)
• 2 tbsp – Ghee
Method:
- After cleaning the beaten rice, soak it in the water of the tender coconut.
- Scrape the jaggery in thin flakes and mix well with the scrapings of the kernel of the tender coconut.
- Cut the ripe plantains into small bits and mash them with the beaten rice and garnish it with the cardamom powder.
