Ingredients:

• 2 cups – Chopped button Mushrooms
• 1 – Medium sized Onion
• 2 – Medium sized Tomatoes
• 1 tsp – Ginger-garlic paste
• 1/2 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 1 tsp- Chilli powder
• 1 tsp- Coriander powder
• 1/2 tsp – Garam Masala powder
• 2 tbsp – Yoghurt
• 1 tsp – Cumin seeds
• 1/4 cup- Chopped, fresh Coriander leaves (for garnishing)
• Salt
• Oil.

Method:

  1. Heat oil in a pan and saute the cumin seeds.
  2. Then add the chopped onions and saute until soft.
  3. Add the ginger-garlic paste, the chopped tomatoes and the powders and mix well.
  4. Let it cook until the oil separates.
  5. Now add the chopped mushrooms and cook for 4 mins on medium flame.
  6. When the mushrooms are half cooked, stir in the yogurt along with salt, and cover with a lid.
  7. Let the mushrooms cook in the steam for 8-10 mins.
  8. Remove from heat and garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
  9. Serve with roti.
