Ingredients:
• 2.25 cups – maida/all – purpose flour
• 75 ml – oil
• 20 gm – powdered Sugar
• 2 tbsp – crystallised Sugar/Demerara Sugar
• 1 big pinch – Salt
• 1 pinch – Baking powder
• 1 handful – Almonds (with skin on)
• 1-2 – green Cardamoms
Method:
- Preheat oven to 180 deg C.
- Finely grind almonds along with cardamoms and a tsp of sugar.
- Mix maida, salt, powdered sugar and baking powder well.
- Add ground almonds and crystallised sugar and mix well.
- Add oil and mix well with your hands.
- The blondie dough will be a crumbly mixture.
- Roll the dough mix into half tbsp sized balls and place them on a baking tray.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes.
- Cool on a rack and store in an airtight container.
