Ingredients:

• 1 big glass Rice – boiled and set aside.
• 2 large Potatoes – boiled, peeled and cubed.
• 1/2 cup – peas.
• 1/2 tsp – Turmeric powder.
• 1 tsp – jeera.
• 1 tsp – mustard seeds.
• Curry leaves – a few.
• Lime juice.
• salt to taste| For the Paste:
• 1 large bunch – Mint leaves (pudina).
• 6 to 7 – green chillies.
• 3 inch – ginger.
• 1 tsp – shahjeera.

Method:

  1. In a pan, heat oil and add mustard seeds. When they begin to splutter, add jeera and then curry leaves, peas, cubed potato pieces and fry until golden brown.
  2. Add the mint paste and fry for some time. Then add turmeric powder.
  3. Then lime juice and fry for some more time.
  4. Lastly add rice, mix well and fry for a few more minutes.
  5. Serve hot.
