Ingredients:
• 300 gms – Paneer
• 3 tsp – Olive oil
• salt to taste
• For gravy:
• 2 tbsp – browned Onion paste
• 2 tsp – ginger-garlic paste
• 1 tbsp – Tomato puree
• 1/2 tsp – curry powder
• 1/2 tsp – Red Chilli powder
• 2 tbsp – chocolate sauce
Method:
- Heat the oil and fry the paneer pieces which have been cut into long pieces.
- Stir-fry turning once till only a light brown. Remove and keep aside.
- For the gravy:
- In the same oil add the onion paste and the ginger-garlic paste.
- Mix in 2 tsp water and stir gently. Add the spices and stir gently.
- Add half cup of water and bring to boil and add salt to taste.
- Lower the heat and mix in the chocolate sauce and put off the heat.
- Transfer this gravy to a serving dish and place the stir-fried paneer pieces.
- This preparation can be served as part of the main course.
- Alternately you can use the gravy and spread it on slices of bread and place the paneer pieces to prepare a sandwich.
