Ingredients:

• 1/2 cup peanuts, soaked in water, boiled.
• 1 cup rice, cooked.
• 1 tbsp – Tamarind paste.
• 1 onion, chopped.
• 1 tbsp – Garam Masala powder.
• 1 tsp – chilli powder.
• 1 tsp – sesame seeds.
• 1/2 tsp – mustard seeds.
• 3 tbsp – oil.
• 1 cup – coconut, grated.
• Salt to taste.

Method:

  1. Heat a pan. Add sesame seeds.
  2. When they pop, add oil.
  3. Add mustard seeds. Add onion. Brown.
  4. Add tamarind paste and powdered spices.
  5. Add peanuts, rice and salt to taste.
  6. Stir till blended and heat through. Serve hot.
