Ingredients:

• 1.5 cups – basmati Rice
• Ghee – 50 g
• Onions – 2 medium
• Coriander leaves – 1 bunch
• 1 tbsp – Garlic and Ginger paste
• Curds – 1 cup
• Tomatoes – 4
• Red Chilli powder – 1/2 tbsp
• Turmeric – 1/4 tbsp
• Cumin powder – 1/4 tbsp
• Garam Masala – 1/2 tbsp
• Green chillies – 4
• Paneer – 100 g
• Salt to taste.

Method:

  1. Heat ghee in a pressure pan
  2. Add garam masala and finely chopped onions and fry the onions till golden brown
  3. To the above add garlic ginger paste, finely cut green chillies and fry for a minute and then add chilli powder, turmeric and cumin powder and fry for a minute
  4. Then add finely chopped tomatoes and cover the pan, remove the lid when the tomatoes are soft, to this add curds, finely grated paneer and coriander.
  5. To the above, add rice and water and cook, wait for two whistles. Serve.
