Ingredients:
• 1 cup – Onion (chopped)
• 1/2 tsp – Ginger (chopped)
• 1 pod – Garlic (chopped)
• 1/2 tsp – Cumin (jeera)
• Salt
• 3/4 cup – Frozen peas
• 1 cup – Methi leaves
• Kasuri Methi crushed (optional, a few strands)
• 1 – Green chilli
• 1 tbsp – Oil
• 1 tbsp – Curd
• 1/2 cup – Cream or malai
• Spice powders:
• 1/2 tsp – Garam Masala
• 1/2 tsp – Kitchen king masala
• 1/4 tsp – Chilli powder
• 1/4 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 1/2 tsp – Coriander powder
Method:
- Heat oil in a pan and temper jeera.
- Add onions, ginger, garlic, green chilli and saute until onions turn golden brown and add salt.
- Add fresh methi leaves.
- Saute for couple of minutes till it shrinks.
- Add frozen peas, spice powders, curd and saute for a minute.
- Add cream.
- Bring the mixture to boil.
- Add little water to desired consistency.
- Simmer for 2-3 minutes and garnish with kasuri methi.
- Serve it with naans or roti.
