Ingredients:
• 1/2 cup – rava
• 1/2 cup – Ghee
• 1 cup – Sugar
• 2 cups – water
• a small quantity- Cashew nuts
• a small quantity – Raisins
• 2 – elaichi/cardamom
• 1 pinch -orange colour
• 1 drop -essence
Method:
- Heat 1 tsp of ghee in a kadai/pan, fry rava for 5 minutes. Keep aside.
- Add 1 more tsp of ghee and fry cashew nuts and raisins.
- Powder elaichi with a little sugar either manually or in a mixie and keep aside.
- Now add 2 cups of water in the pan and let it boil, then add rava slowly and keep stirring to avoid lumps.
- Then add ghee so that the mixture will leave the sides of kadai.
- Now add sugar, colour and essence.
- Finally add cashew nuts, raisins and elaichi powder. Serve hot.
