Ingredients:

• 1 cup – white Rice
• 1-2 tsp – oil
• Salt, to taste

Method:

  1. Soak rice in water for about 3-4 hours.
  2. Grind the rice with water to a very smooth paste (the paste should be thinner than the usual dosa batter).
  3. Add salt and mix well.
  4. Heat tawa on the stove and smear a little oil.
  5. Take the batter in a ladle and pour little by little on the tawa.
  6. Tilt the tawa to spread the batter evenly. Or spread with a spoon.
  7. Cook, covered, for about 1/2-1 min. Pour a little oil and cook covered for another 1-2 mins.
  8. Once cooked, carefully remove from tawa. Serve hot with ghee and coconut chutney.
