Ingredients:

• Beans – 1/4 kg (chopped)
• Freshly grated Coconut – 1/4 cup
• Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
• Green chillies – 2-3
• Mustard Seeds – 1 tsp
• Urad Dal – 1 tsp
• Curry leaves – A few
• Salt to taste
• Oil – 1 tsp

Method:

  1. Boil the beans with turmeric powder and salt.
  2. In the mean time, grind to paste (coarsely) coconut and green chillies.
  3. Once the vegetables are boiled, heat oil in pan, add mustard seeds, urad dal, curry leaves and allow it to splutter.
  4. Then add the beans and mix well.
  5. Fry it for a minute or so then add the paste and mix well.
  6. Cook it for 2-3 minutes.
  7. Serve hot with hot rice and sambar.
