Ingredients:

• 500 gms – firm fleshed fish
• 200 gms – fresh Coconut
• 50 gms – fresh coriander
• 6 Garlic Cloves
• 1 tsp – Cumin seeds
• 4 Green chillies
• 0.5 tsp – Sugar
• 2 tsp – white Vinegar
• 1 tbsp – vegetable oil
• 1 Lime
• salt to taste

Method:

  1. Clean and cut fish into 3-4 cm thick slices.
  2. Scrape coconut.
  3. Blend coconut with garlic, chillies, cumin, sugar with little water in a processor using on/off turns until mixture resembles coarse meal.
  4. Add coriander, lime juice, white vinegar, oil and salt.
  5. In a circular dish arrange fish.
  6. Coat slices of fish with ground masala paste.
  7. Cover with cling film and cook in a microwave in High for 10 minutes or till cooked.
  8. Leave it to stand for 5 mins.
  9. Garnish with lemon rings before serving.
