
Ingredients:
• saboodana ( tapioca )- 1 cup
• peanuts, roasted- 1/3 cup
• chopped green chillis( add more if you like spicy)-2
• cumin seeds( jeera)- 1/4 tsp
• Ghee : 1 tsp
• oil : 1 tbsp
• salt to taste
Method:
- Soaking Saboodana : This is the only time-consuming part of this dish. So, you can soak larger quantities and keep them deep frozen. Thaw a cupful when needed.
- Pour Saboodana in a large deep bowl.
- Add sufficient water. Let it stand for 10 minutes. Drain all water. Keep it aside for 3-4 hours.
- Saboodana will become soft to its core, and it will be dry and loose to handle.
- Preparing The Dish :
- Chop peanuts into coarse grains. Mix it with saboodana.
- In a frying pan, heat oil. Add cumin and chopped green chillies.
- Add Saboodana and peanut mixture. Add salt to taste. Stir well.
- Add ghee, stir and serve.
