Ingredients:
• 1/2 kg – Chicken
• 1/2 kg – basmati Rice
• 1 cup – Mint and coriander leaves, chopped
• 1 – onion, sliced
• 4 to 5 – Green chillies
• 1 – lemon, small
• 4 – cinnamon, small pieces
• 4 – Cardamom
• 1.5 tsp – ginger-garlic paste
• salt to taste
• 4 – Clove
Method:
- Wash chicken and marinate with lemon and a little bit of salt. Heat oil or ghee.
- Add cinnamon, cloves, cardamom and onion.
- Fry till brown in colour.
- Add ginger garlic paste.
- Add chicken pieces and fry for 2 mins. Add soaked rice. Mix well.
- Add salt. Cover and cook till done.
- Add mint and chopped coriander on top.
- Mix well and serve with raitha.
