Ingredients:

• Tomatoes – 4
• Fresh Coconut – Half
• Green chillies – According to taste
• Cilantro/coriander – 2 tbsp
• Salt – According to taste
• Seasoning
• Oil – 2 tsp
• Mustard Seeds – A pinch
• Jeera – A pinch
• Hing – A pinch

Method:

  1. Use a kadai and heat 2 tsp oil.
  2. Add tomatoes (cut into quarters) and green chillies.
  3. When you notice they are tender, remove them.
  4. When it cools down, add grated coconut, cilantro, salt and grind into a fine paste.
  5. Now in a kadai put 2 tsp of oil and add mustard and jeera.
  6. Allow them to splutter.
  7. Add the seasoning to the chutney.
  8. The chutney is ready.
