
Ingredients:
• Whole Wheat – 1 cup
• Wheat flour – 1 cup
• Powdered Sugar – 1/2 cup
• Ghee – 1/4 cup
• khoya/mewa – 100g
• Milk – 1/4 cup
Method:
- Take the whole wheat, wash and soak it in water for a full day. Drain water and hang the whole wheat to dry overnight.
- The next day nodes will come out from the whole wheat.
- Now put this whole wheat in the mixer and grind it, by adding some milk, into a thick batter consistency.
- Now take a pan, add ghee, ground batter and stir well.
- Add khoya/mewa, powdered sugar and mix all together nicely. Keep this mixture aside.
- Now take wheat flour. Add water and make a dough.
- Make small balls of the dough and fill each ball with the sweet mixture.
- Flatten the stuffed dough.
- Heat a tava, put the flattened sweet poli on it and cook it by adding ghee on two sides.
- Serve hot.
