Ingredients:

• 4 cups – Pori (White Rice puffs)
• 2 tsp – Cooking oil
• 1 – Onion (big)
• 1 – Tomato (big)
• 1 small piece – Ginger
• 1 – Green chilly
• 1 tsp – Mustard Seeds
• 1/2 tsp each – Urad & Channa dals
• 1 tsp – Cashew nuts or ground nuts.

Method:

  1. First, wash and drain the rice puffs.
  2. The rice puffs become a little soggy and they become like cooked rice.
  3. Keep it aside.
  4. Then heat a pan, pour oil and splutter the mustard. Add urad and channa dal and the ground nut.
  5. Fry till the dals turn brown.
  6. Then add onion, tomato and ginger.
  7. Fry it till it becomes brown.
  8. Next add the pori (rice puffs), stir, add salt and mix it well.
  9. You can remove it immediately and serve with ketchup or coconut chutney.
