
Ingredients:
• 4 cups – Pori (White Rice puffs)
• 2 tsp – Cooking oil
• 1 – Onion (big)
• 1 – Tomato (big)
• 1 small piece – Ginger
• 1 – Green chilly
• 1 tsp – Mustard Seeds
• 1/2 tsp each – Urad & Channa dals
• 1 tsp – Cashew nuts or ground nuts.
Method:
- First, wash and drain the rice puffs.
- The rice puffs become a little soggy and they become like cooked rice.
- Keep it aside.
- Then heat a pan, pour oil and splutter the mustard. Add urad and channa dal and the ground nut.
- Fry till the dals turn brown.
- Then add onion, tomato and ginger.
- Fry it till it becomes brown.
- Next add the pori (rice puffs), stir, add salt and mix it well.
- You can remove it immediately and serve with ketchup or coconut chutney.
