Ingredients:

• 1/4 kg – okra/ladies finger
• 1 tsp – mustard
• 1 tsp – Cumin seeds
• 1 tbsp – red chilly powder
• 2 tbsp – coriander powder
• 1/2 tsp – Turmeric powder
• a pinch – Asafoetida
• salt to taste
• oil for frying

Method:

  1. Wash and cut okra and keep other ingredients ready.
  2. Heat oil in a pan/kadai, add mustard. When it pops up, add cumin seeds and okra.
  3. Fry for a minute.
  4. Now add red chilly powder, coriander powder and a little salt.
  5. Fry well. If required add oil in between.
