Ingredients:
• 400 to 500 g – broccoli, broken into florets
• toasted Sunflower seeds
• For dressing:
• 2/5 cup – Olive oil
• 2 tsp – sesame oil
• 3 tbsp – mirin or white Vinegar
• 2 Cloves garlic, chopped
• 1.5 tsp – chopped fresh Ginger
• milled black pepper to taste
Method:
- For dressing:
- Mix all the ingredients together.
- Steam broccoli over boiling water for about 6 minutes or until just tender but still firm and bright green in colour.
- Place broccoli in a serving dish and while still hot, pour over dressing.
- Sprinkle toasted sunflower seeds over and serve immediately, as a light meal with crusty bread or as a side dish.
