
Ingredients:
• 1/2 kg – Chicken wings
• 1 tsp – salt
• 1/2 tsp – black pepper
• 1 cup – Refined flour
• 1 Egg
• 1 tbsp – Corn flour
• 1/2 tsp – baking powder
• 1 tbsp – Garlic (chopped)
• 3 tbsp – chilli sauce
• 2 tbsp – Worcestershire sauce
• 2 tbsp – Honey
• Tomato ketchup – 1 tbsp
• 1/4 cup – oil as required
Method:
- Cut the chicken wings into halves.
- Take out 1/2 cup refined flour in a plate. Put remaining refined flour, egg, corn flour, baking powder, black pepper, salt, 1 tbsp oil and 1/4 cup water in a bowl to make a thick paste.
- Coat chicken pieces one by one, first in the mixture then in refined flour.
- Heat oil in a wok and fry wings for 10 mins or till they turn golden.
- To make honey sauce, fry garlic in 1/4 cup oil till it turns golden.
- Add honey, chilli sauce, Worcestershire sauce and tomato ketchup.
- Cook till it comes to a boil.
- Immerse chicken wings in honey sauce and serve.
