Ingredients:
• 2 bunches – Palak
• 250 g – Paneer (cut into small cubes)
• 2 – Green chillies
• 2 – Onions (cut into small pieces)
• 4-5 – Cashew nuts
• 1 tsp – Poppy Seeds
• 2-3 – Tomatoes ( cut into small pieces), 1 tsp – Cumin seeds
• 1 tbsp – Jeera powder
• 1 tbsp – Dhania powder
• 2 tsp – Red Chilli powder
• 1 tsp – Garam Masala
• 1/4 tsp – Sugar
• Salt to taste
• 2 tbsp – oil
Method:
- Cut and wash the palak.
- Cook the palak along with the 2 green chillies slit and the sugar.
- After the palak is well cooked, mash the palak along with the chillies.
- Grind the cut onions, cashews, and poppy seeds.
- Take a kadai and add the oil to it. Add cumin seeds, the ground masala and fry it till the raw smell of onion goes.
- Then add the cut tomatoes and let it cook for few mins.
- Then add all the powders – red chilli, dhania, jeera. Fry them.
- Then add the mashed palak. Add the desired amount of salt.
- Finally add the fresh paneer cubes and let it cook for 5 mins in low flame.
