Ingredients:

• 1 kg – Mutton cut into medium pieces
• For masala:
• 4 tbsp – Coconut either desiccated or fresh
• 8 – Garlic
• 4 – Tomatoes
• 1 inch – Ginger piece
• Other ingredients:
• 4 – Onions cut into length wise
• 3 to 4 tsp – oil
• 1 tsp – Haldi powder
• 4 tsp – Dhania powder
• 3 tsp – Red Chilli powder
• 3 tsp – Garam Masala powder
• Salt to taste and Coriander leaves

Method:

  1. Heat the pan and add the oil.
  2. When it is hot, add the cut onions and lightly fry till golden colour.
  3. Now add the ground masala paste, and all the powders and keep stirring till the oil starts separating from the masala.
  4. Now add the mutton and enough water for the meat to cook.
  5. Keep on medium flame until the meat is fully – cooked
  6. Remove from fire and add coriander leaves for garnishing.
