Ingredients:

• Chana dal – 1 cup
• Green chilli- 3 to 4
• Ginger
• Grated Coconut – 3 tsp
• Salt
• Lemon juice – 3 tsp
• Oil for seasoning
• Coriander for garnishing

Method:

  1. Soak chana dal for 3 to 4 hours.
  2. Grind it into a rough paste along with green chilli and ginger.
  3. Add salt, lemon juice and coconut to it.
  4. Heat oil in a pan and roast mustard seeds and jeera.
  5. Pour over dal mixture.
  6. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve.
