Ingredients:
• 1 cup – quick cook Oats
• 1 – Lemon
• 1/8 tsp – Turmeric powder
• salt as needed
• 1.5 cups – water
• To Temper: 1-2 tbsp – sesame oil
• 3/4 tsp – mustard
• 1 tsp – Urad Dal
• 1 tsp – Channa dal
• ground nut (optional), a few
• 1 sprig – Curry leaves
• 1/8 tsp – asafetida
• 2-3 -red chilli or Green chilli
Method:
- Heat a pan with oil and temper the items given in the same order.
- Saute on medium flame until the mustard splutters.
- Add the water, turmeric powder, the lemon juice, and salt. Bring to boil.
- Add the oats and mix well. Cook covered for 3 minutes in medium low flame.
- Serve hot.
