
Ingredients:
• 1 cup – raw Rice
• 1 cup – idly Rice
• 1 cup – Toor Dal
• 7 – Red Chillies (or to taste)
• Salt – to taste
• 1 medium – Onion (chopped finely)
• Curry leaf
• 1/2 cup – coriander (finely chopped)
• Oil, as required
Method:
- Soak rice, dal and red chillies together for 45 minutes. Grind them coarsely. The batter should be like idly batter in consistency.
- Now, add salt, chopped onion, curry leaf and chopped coriander. Mix well.
- Heat tawa and pour 2 ladles of batter and spread evenly (like dosa).
- Add oil along the sides.
- Cook both the sides till golden brown.
- Serve hot with avial or coconut chutney.
