Ingredients:

• 2 medium-sized Mango (preferably sour)
• 1 tsp – Mustard Seeds
• 1-2 Red Chilli
• 1 tsp – Haldi powder
• 100 gms – Jaggery
• 1 tsp – chilli powder
• 1 tbsp – oil
• Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Wash mangoes, wipe them dry and grate them.
  2. Heat oil in a sauce pan and add mustard seeds.
  3. When they splutter, add red chilli broken into two.
  4. Add grated mangoes and fry.
  5. Add chilli powder, salt and haldi powder.
  6. Let it cook for some time.
  7. Add jaggery and let it cook.
  8. Take it off fire when oil floats on top.
  9. Cool and store in an air tight container.
  10. Tastes good with chapattis and bread.
