
Ingredients:
• 1/2 cup – Almonds
• 1/2 kg – white bread
• 50 gms – Butter
• 1 tsp – Caraway seeds
• 3 – whole eggs
• 2 cups – Milk
• 1/2 cup – Plums
• a little salt
• 1/2 cup – Sugar
• 1 tsp – vanilla essence
Method:
- Break the bread into pieces and soak in milk for 15 minutes.
- Wash the plums. Peel the almonds and cut into slices.
- Clean the caraway seeds.
- Mix the sugar and soaked bread and mash well.
- Add the mashed mixture to slightly beaten eggs, plums, almonds, caraway seeds, vanilla, salt and butter and mix well.
- Butter a bowl and pour the mixture in it.
- Steam for 1.5 hours.
- Serve with pudding sauce.
