Ingredients:

• 8 – Bread slices.
• 3 – potatoes, boiled and mashed.
• 2 – onions, finely chopped.
• 2 – green chillies, finely chopped.
• 1 – tomato, finely chopped.
• Coriander leaves – finely chopped.
• Salt to taste.
• 1/2 tsp – Red Chilli powder (optional).
• Butter or oil.

Method:

  1. Take two bread slices and cut them.
  2. Cross to give a triangular shape.
  3. Boil the potatoes and mash them.
  4. Now, add the onions, tomatoes, green chillies, salt, chilli powder and finely chopped coriander leaves.
  5. Mix all the ingredients well and put them in between the two half cut bread slices.
  6. Heat the pan. Take small amount of oil or butter to fry them (not deep fry) till golden brown.
  7. Serve hot with ketchup or any chutney.
