
Ingredients:
• 1 cup – Channa dal
• 15 – Jackfruit seeds
• 1/4 cup – moong dal
• 1 – Onion
• 2 – Green chillies
• 1 tsp – Fennel seed
• 1 tsp – Ginger chopped
• 2 – Garlic pods
• 5 – Curry leaves
• Salt
• 2 tsp – Coriander leaves
• Oil for Deep Frying
Method:
- Soak both channa dal and moong dal separately for 2 hours
- Meanwhile chop onions finely and green chillies
- Cook the jackfruit seeds in hot water, drain and grind the seeds coarsely.
- Grind channa dal, soaked moong dal and grind along with fennel seed and salt. Sprinkle water
- Add the chopped onions, green chillies, ginger and mashed garlic pods, curry leaves as well as coriander leaves to the vada batter
- Mix everything well.
- Heat oil in a deep pan, take a small ball from the vada batter and flatten them into vadas and Deep Fried till they turn brownish and crispy
