Ingredients:
• 2 Raw bananas/Vazhakkai
• 1 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 1 tsp – Red Chilli powder
• 1 tsp – Coriander powder
• 3 tbsp – quick cooking oats
• 1/2 tsp – Urad Dal and Mustard Seeds
• 5 Curry leaves
• Oil
• Salt
Method:
- Peel the skin and chop the raw bananas into small pieces.
- Cook the chopped raw banana chunks in hot water with turmeric powder until they get half cooked.
- Strain the water and keep aside.
- Heat enough oil in a pan, splutter the mustard seeds, urad dal, curry leaves and add the half cooked raw bananas.
- Toss gently and add the red chilli powder, coriander powder and salt.
- Lower heat and stir everything well and cook.
- Finally add the oats and cook again for few minutes until the oats get cooked.
