Ingredients:

• Chicken – 300 g, cleaned and cut into small pieces
• Cinnamon – 2 inch pieces
• Salt to taste
• Cashew and Almond paste – a handful ground smoothly
• Ginger and Garlic paste – 2 tsp
• Onion, chopped – one
• Turmeric powder- 1/4 tsp
• Chilli powder – 2 tsp
• Coriander powder- 1 tsp
• Orange colour – 1.5 tsp
• Butter – 3 tsp
• Oil – 2 tsp
• Tomato puree – 2 Tomatoes, blend smoothly

Method:

  1. Fry onions in oil till transparent.
  2. Add cinnamon and let it fry.
  3. Then add ginger and garlic paste along with a little water.
  4. Stir continuously. Add turmeric, chilly, coriander powder with salt and mix well.
  5. Pour in tomato puree, cashew and almond paste. Mix well with water.
  6. When it starts to boil, add the chicken which should be mixed with a little colour.
  7. Then add sufficient water and boil.
  8. Cook till required consistency.
  9. Before switching off, add butter and serve hot with parathas
