Ingredients:

• 1/2 – cucumber, peeled and chopped finely
• 2-3 tbsps – grated coconut, fresh/frozen
• 2-3 tsp – jeera/cumin seeds
• 2-3 – Green chillies
• 2-3 strands – Cilantro
• 3-4 tbsp – curds
• 1 strand – Curry leaves
• 1 tsp – oil
• 1/2 tsp – Mustard Seeds
• A pinch – Hing
• salt, to taste

Method:

  1. Grind coconut, jeera, green chillies, cilantro and hing to form a smooth paste.
  2. Add the masala paste to the chopped cucumber.
  3. Add curds, salt and mix well.
  4. Add water to get the desired consistency.
  5. Temper with mustard seeds and curry leaves.
  6. Serve with hot rice.
