Ingredients:

• Minced Mutton – 1 kg
• Onion – 1 kg, sliced
• Coriander seeds – 50 gms
• dry Red Chillies – 12 to 15
• oil – 3 tbsp
• Onion – 1/2 kg, minced
• Green chillies – 8 to 10
• Coconut – 1, grated
• Cumin seeds – 4 tsp
• salt to taste
• For Seasoning:
• oil – 1 tbsp
• mustard- 1 tsp
• Curry leaves – few

Method:

  1. Fry coriander seeds, red chillies, half of the green chillies and onion in oil. Cool and grind to a paste.
  2. Grind remaining onion, green chillies, coconut and cumin coarsely.
  3. Mix fried masala paste with mutton.
  4. Add turmeric and salt.
  5. Cook the meat in its own juices.
  6. Prepare seasoning and add.
  7. Fry till almost dry.
  8. Stir in the coconut masala and remove from fire.
