Ingredients:

• 250 g – jackfruit, cut in cubes
• 1.5 cup – onion, chopped
• 2 cup – tomato, chopped
• 2 tsp – green chilli, chopped
• 1 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 2 tsp – coriander powder
• 1 tsp – Red Chilli powder
• Salt to taste
• 1 tsp – Garam Masala
• A hand full – chopped coriander
• 2 tbsp – vegetable oil
• Vegetable oil for frying

Method:

  1. Fry jackfruit cubes till golden colour and drain on paper towel and keep it aside.
  2. Heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan, add onions and saute for 1 minute.
  3. Add all spices and salt except garam masala.
  4. Now add chopped tomatoes and chillies, stir and add fried jackfruit cubes to it.
  5. Cover and let it cook for 10 minutes.
  6. Open the lid and cook for another 5 minutes till oil separates.
  7. Remove from heat and garnish with chopped coriander leaves and garam masala.
  8. Serve hot.
